Why cheque amounts must end with "मात्र"
When you write a cheque in Nepal, the amount-in-words line should end with मात्र (or "Only"). It closes the sentence so no additional word can be inserted after it — a basic anti-fraud convention every bank expects. This tool's Cheque mode adds it automatically: Rs. 12,50,000 becomes रुपैयाँ बाह्र लाख पचास हजार मात्र / Rupees Twelve Lakh Fifty Thousand Only.
