What we collect (very little), what never leaves your browser, and how to reach us.

The short version

  • No accounts, no sign-ups. There is nothing to log into, so we hold no usernames, passwords, or profiles.
  • Calculator inputs stay on your device. Salary, loan, tax, and converter numbers are processed in your browser and never sent to us.
  • We measure visits with Google Analytics to learn which pages help people. Blockers stop it entirely — the site works fine without it.
  • The contact form sends only what you type (name, email, message) so we can reply.

What stays in your browser

Every calculator, converter, and checker on SolutionsNepal runs as client-side code. When you type a salary, pick dates, or upload a photo for resizing, compressing, or PDF work, that data is processed locally on your device. It is not uploaded, logged, or stored on any server we operate.

Two exceptions, both only on your explicit action:

  • English ↔ Nepali translator — the text you translate is sent to a translation service to produce the result. It is not stored by us.
  • Contact form — covered below.

Your dark/light theme choice is saved in your own browser's local storage so the site remembers it. We cannot see it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics on every page to understand aggregate usage — which pages are visited, roughly from where, and on what kind of device. This helps us decide what to build and fix. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (such as _ga) and processes data under Google's policies.

You can opt out at any time: use an ad/tracker blocker, enable Do-Not-Track, or install Google's Analytics opt-out extension. The site works fully with analytics blocked.

Contact form

If you write to us through the contact page, your name, email address, and message are transmitted via our form provider (Web3Forms) to our team inbox so we can reply. We use messages only to respond and improve the site, and we never sell or share them. Please do not send citizenship numbers, passwords, bank credentials, or other sensitive personal data through the form.

Live rates, cookies & third parties

Gold, fuel, currency, and weather figures shown on the site are fetched from official public sources (Nepal Rastra Bank, FENEGOSIDA, Nepal Oil Corporation, Open-Meteo) when the site updates. No personal data of yours is sent to those sources.

Fonts and article cover images are hosted on this site — loading a page does not contact Google Fonts or image CDNs. Apart from Google Analytics cookies above, we set no cookies of our own: no login, session, or advertising cookies.

Pages link out to official Nepali government and public sites (such as ird.gov.np or dotm.gov.np). Once you follow those links, their privacy policies apply, not this one.

Children & changes

SolutionsNepal is a general-audience reference site. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and because there are no accounts, there is no child profile to create or delete.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
